Purple Garlic Pizza Brothers make the best pizzas in Ajijic and use quality, fresh ingredients in their kitchen.
The pizzas are everything you’d expect in a great pie: a crispy-but-chewy crust, a balanced garlicky tomato sauce, and the taste of real Italian mozzarella cheese.
There are 13 pizzas on the menu from the standby plain cheese and Hawaiian to more adventurous combinations.
Purple Garlic offers delivery from San Juan Cosalá to Chapala. The charge is 20% of your order for delivery in Ajijic, 25% to Chapala and 30% to San Juan Cosalá. The charge gets split between the delivery guy and the waiter, who owns the motorcycle. So there’s no need to tip extra unless you like.
Purple Garlic Pizza Brothers used to be located on the highway in Ajijic. In June 2019, it moved two blocks south to its current location across from the south side of the plaza.

Javier (Javi) lived over 20 years in the United States and eventually spent five years working in one of the top pizzerias in Charleston, South Carolina.
Pizza crusts are available in three different thicknesses: thin, normal or thick. Every time it comes out as the right combination of crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.
Making a small "Phoenix" pizza: sliced chorizo, pineapple, serrano peppers, mozzarella, tomato sauce.
A vegetarian pizza: cherry tomatoes, purple onions, black olives, mushrooms, green peppers, spinach, light mozzarella. This order also has sausage added to it.
A medium "Samurai" pizza ready for the oven: sausage, black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, purple onion.
A large "Gryphon" pizza: spinach, balsamic chicken, bleu cheese crumble, mozzarella, olive oil and garlic base.
