This outdoor block party used to shut down the two blocks on Colón leading to Ajijic's malecón.
This weekly event took place for several years before shutting down in 2018.
As of 2023, the parking lane on Colón Street gets turned into a walking area and there is talk of reintroducing some version of the Andador Axixic in the future. A number of locals would like to see one of the lanes turned into a permanent pedestrian zone.
